Account Guide

To register an account on WhatNET, you must use the "H" service. To use it, enter the following commands in your IRC client. Leave off all appropriate brackets.

Register account: /msg H register (account name) (password) (email)
Specify your account name, which may or may not be the same as your nickname in the account name field. Your password. And your email address. You must supply a valid email address as a cookie will be sent to it to verify registration.

Unregister account: /msg H unregister (password)
When authenticated to your account, enter the above command to unregister your account.

Authenticate: /msg H auth (account name) (password)
Use the above command to authenticate, or identify, to your account.

Reset Forgotten Password: /msg H resetpass (account name) (new password)
This command will reset your password to what you specify after verification of a cookie sent to the account's filed email address.

General Help: /msg H help
